The MSU Department of Epidemiology
provides consultative services to
clinical investigators, public health
professionals, and health care
providers. Involvement in consultation
depends on faculty interest, time
commitments and available resources. In
the past, some Department consulting
activities have led to on-going
collaborative research projects.
The Biostatistics Unit's consulting
activities have addressed a spectrum of
different statistical analyses,
questions on statistical methodology,
design of clinical studies, and sampling
and data management issues. Recent and
continuing consulting projects have
included work within the university, as
well as with regional health maintenance
organizations, hospitals, and external
research groups.
